About UX Research Brief
UX Research Brief is a small, independent site about user research, the work of learning how people actually use products. It serves two groups: people who run research and people who take part in it.
How we write explainers. For each topic we read several articles and guides (often on Medium, and from research organisations such as Nielsen Norman Group), then write our own six-sentence explanation and draw our own illustrations. We never copy text or images, and we link every source we read. The writing and drawings are made with the help of AI (Claude, by Anthropic) and checked against the sources.
How we list platforms. Our paid-study guides use each platform's own help pages and terms, with the date we checked. No platform pays to be listed. If we ever add referral or affiliate links, we'll label them clearly on the page and here.
How we list jobs. Roles come from companies' own public job boards, and every link goes to the employer. Employers can ask to be added or removed at hello@uxresearchbrief.com.
